The Australian Sign & Graphics Association has released an industry fact sheet, highlighting data gathered in recent surveys by the ASGA and by supplier association, Visual Connections.

The flyer, which has been provided to Federal Government advisors as part of ongoing lobbying regarding industry recognition, training and other key issues, includes an overview of the industry highlighting its diversity and contribution to business and the wider community, and features some key facts on its size, importance and value to the Australian economy.

“While the products we create graphic communications sector are some of the most visible in the world, there is still a lack of recognition of just how vital the sign, display, wide-format print and related areas are,” says Mick Harrold, President of the ASGA.

“This fact sheet captures the highlights of our research, and we encourage all businesses in the sector to download it, use the information and share it widely with suppliers, customers and colleagues, and with their local State and Federal members.”
