About the role

Signarama Hornsby is seeking a skilled and experienced Signage Production and Installer to join our team in Hornsby, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the production and installation of high-quality signage for our diverse range of clients.

What you’ll be doing

Fabricating and producing signage using a variety of materials and techniques
Provides In-shop hands on assistance to trim, measure, weed vinyl, clean, etc. parts of signage to produce a complete product for sale.
Communicate with sales and designer to understand what the parts of the job will be, and potentially order from supplier
Make recommendations for repair or replacement where needed, and any new parts that need to be installed.
Uses problem-solving and people skills to ensure swift resolutions to problems.
Provides accurate timelines for repairs and/or assembly.
Troubleshoot issues and looks for solutions
Replace and/or repairs faulty components where required/requested
Visits sites to measure up and take photos where install is required
Contributes to team effort by taking on additional tasks as needed.
Installing signage at customer sites, including managing the logistics and liaising with clients
Operating and maintaining signage production equipment such as printers, cutters, and laminators
Ensuring the quality and timeliness of all signage deliveries
Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients
Collaborating with the design team to bring their creative visions to life
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
What we’re looking for

Demonstrated experience in signage production and installation, preferably within the Trades & Services industry
Strong technical skills and the ability to operate a variety of signage production equipment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients effectively
A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to customer sites
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
A commitment to safety and workplace best practices
