Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Digital Print Operator to join our experienced and friendly production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our wide-format digital printers, ensuring all work is produced to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
You will work closely with our Production Manager, team members, clients, and suppliers to meet production deadlines and deliver exceptional service. The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment.
This is a physically active role that involves some heavy lifting, and a pre-employment medical may be required.
Tasks & Responsibilities
· Operate wide-format digital printing machinery
· Use print RIP software to process jobs (experience with HP Latex and/or Onyx RIP highly regarded)
· Produce print jobs to exact specifications and meet quality control guidelines
· Perform regular preventative maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition
· Monitor production timelines to meet tight deadlines
· Work cooperatively with managers, team members, clients, and suppliers to maintain high customer service standards
Skills & Experience
· Good computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
· Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Reliable, with strong time management skills
· Experience with HP Latex printers and/or Onyx RIP software is highly desirable
