ASGA Announces Strategic Alliance with ISA

The Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) has announced a new, strategic alliance with the International Sign Association (ISA), significantly expanding the professional development, research access and global industry connection available to Australian sign businesses.

Under the agreement, all eligible ASGA General / Sign Company members will automatically receive ISA membership with no additional memberships dues required, unlocking access to ISA’s extensive education, research and industry resources.

ASGA President, Mick Harrold

ASGA President Mick Harrold said the partnership represents a major step forward for the Australian signage sector.

“This alliance gives our members direct access to the world’s largest sign association. ISA’s training, research and global insights are second to none, and we’re thrilled to bring that value directly to the Australian Sign Industry” Mick said.

Through the alliance, ASGA members will gain:

  • ISA member‑rate access to webinars, on‑demand learning and over 60 online courses
  • Free entry to the ISA International Sign Expo and discounted seminar pricing.
  • Access to ISA virtual events, newsletters and industry updates
  • Member‑rate access to ISA and Sign Research Foundation (SRF) research
  • Permission to use ISA marks to identify their business as an ISA Alliance Partner member.

ASGA Vice President and Member & Events Manager Damian Nielsen said the partnership strengthens ASGA’s commitment to delivering practical, high‑value benefits to members.

“Our industry is evolving fast, and access to world‑class training and research is critical. This alliance opens the door to a broader range of training and research materials, adding depth to the resources available to Australian sign businesses, without adding to their membership costs.

“Australian businesses will be able to login via the ASGA website, and easily navigate to the ASGA resources section – all of which have been verified as relevant to the Australian market and compliant with Australian standards. It’s a genuine value uplift for every ASGA member,” Nielsen said.

The alliance also reinforces ASGA’s role as the national body representing the interests of the Australian sign and graphics industry.

“We’re focused on giving our members every advantage — whether that’s IR support, training, safety, or now, international industry access,” Damian added.

“This partnership with ISA is another strong step in that direction.”

ASGA will update the Member area of its website in coming days to provide access to these new services, and will continue to communicate ISA opportunities, resources and updates directly to members as new programs and resources become available.
