ASGA Releases New & Updated Resources
ASGA has released more than 20 new and updated resources, including legal documents, templates and resources for Member businesses.
This brings ASGA’s suite of legal and employment resources to nearly 400 policies, procedures, documents and templates to help businesses save time and remain compliant with today’s increasingly complex technical, regulatory and employment environment.
These resources, which are available to all ASGA Members via the Member Area at signs.org.au, are prepared by the lawyers and workplace relations specialists at Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors (ABLA), and are regularly updated to ensure they align with the latest regulations and workplace relations practice.
This month, a number of New Policies have been added, including:
- Managing Injured Workers Checklist
- Artificial Intelligence Policy
- Fixed Term vs. Permanent Employment Guide
- Approved Contractors Register
- Timesheet Form
Other policies have been updated, including Dress Policy, Conflicts and Personal Relationships in the Workplace.
The list of available templates has also been expanded and updated. Several letter templates have been refreshed, and eight new letter templates introduced to cover specific situations. These include:
- Exit Interview
- Confirmation of Retirement Letter
- Performance Improvement Plan
- Letter to Employee Regarding Voluntary Redundancy
- Completion of Probation Letter
- Casual Conversion – Offer to Employee
- Letter Advising of Future Redundancies
- Authorised Deductions Agreement
Templates which have been updated include letters on Acknowledgement of Parental Leave, Termination Due to Incapacity, Request to Cash Out Leave, Training Record of Attendance, Advising Employee of Stand Down, Christmas Parties, Casual Conversion – Confirmation of Employment Status, Statement of Termination Entitlements, Return to Work Plan, Performance Appraisal Form and two letters regarding Abandonment of Employment – a warning letter and a confirmation letter.
ASGA’s extensive legal and employment resources are in addition to the more than 400 WH&S policies, procedures, checklists and templates delivered in conjunction with ASSA, which are also available to members via the ASGA website.
