Amid a glittering night of celebration, the winners of the 2026 Easy Signs National Sign & Graphics awards were announced, recognising the talent, initiative, innovation and excellence achieved in our sector across the past two years.

This year, more than 450 entries have been received across 26 categories spanning everything from digital media; to fabricated, engraved and digitally printed signs; vehicle wraps, and traditional sign craft. In all, 86 awards were made, including the coveted Best in Show and People’s Choice Awards which rounded out the presentations.

Mick Harrold, President of ASGA, said the judging process for the 10^th biennial Awards – known colloquially as ‘the ASGAs’ – had been one of the most exacting in the Awards’ history.

“The entries this year were nothing short of outstanding, with our judges commenting that they were among the best we have ever received in 20 years since the Awards were established,” Mick reported.

As well as the accolades for a wide range of projects across everything from traditional signage crafts, to fabricated and illuminated signage, wayfinding, pylon and sculptural signs, wraps, soft signage and more, the night include presentation of two very special awards for lifetime achievements.

Panels were convened to ensure relevant expertise to inform the judging of each category, and to ensure the process is completely impartial.

“We extend our grateful thanks to the many experts who took time away from busy careers and lives to take on the task this year, and for the outstanding job they have done to select the winners from such an outstanding field.”

Big winners on the night included Zimmermann Industries with four Gold and a Bronze, National Sign Build with three Golds. ImageBox Group, Brisbane Signs & Engraving and Bear Designs won two Gold awards each.

TAFE NSW won both Gold and Silver in the Training innovation category for their work reinventing signage education, while Kathryn Wheelan from Zimmermann Industries won the Young Star award for their work on Think Beauty, Think Mecca.

The Best in Show Awards, which is judged from all the Gold Award winning entries as the most outstanding work submitted this year, went to Zimmermann Industries for Suspended Floor Level Identifiers & Escalator Canopy while staff member Kathryn Wheelan won the Young Star Award. The People’s Choice Awards was presented to Tiger Corp for VCAT / Court Services Victoria Fitout after judging was completed just before the Awards Dinner by visitors to Visual Impact Expo.

The 2026 Easy Signs National Sign & Graphics Awards and the Gala Presentation Dinner were hosted by the Australian Sign & Graphics Association and organised by Visual Connections Australia.
