Entries Flow in as Awards Deadline Draws Closer
Entries are already flowing in for the 2026 Easy Signs National Sign & Graphics Awards, but with the deadline coming up early next month, organisers are urging anyone who wants to intend to enter to start the process as soon as possible.
The industry’s premier Awards, hosted by the Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) and organised by Visual Connections, is set to showcase the industry’s achievements over the past two years.
The competition opened in February, with projects completed between Saturday 1 June 2024 and Thursday 4 June 2026 eligible for inclusion. Entries must be received on the competition platform by no later than 5pm on Friday 5 June 2026, so sign makers will need to move quickly if they want to be part of the competition.
“We have already seen some great work entered, showcasing some outstanding achievements and some very exciting projects,” says Damian Nielsen, Membership & Events Manager for ASGA.
“However, we’ve also been talking to many businesses who tell us they intend to enter, but who have not yet started the process. Knowing the time involved in taking the right images to adequately highlight the strengths of each project, and gathering the information required for judging, we are urging them to start right away.”
Categories this year include:

Judging will be conducted in mid-June, by a panel of independent experts assembled for the purpose. This panel will also select a ‘Best in Show’ Award from the category winners. The highly sought-after People’s Choice Award will be judged by ASGA Members, from a display which will form part of the Visual Impact Expo in Sydney in September.
While the biennial Awards are the industry’s most coveted accolades, it’s not all about winning, says Damian.
“While it’s great to have your work recognised with an Award, the benefits of entering go so much further,” he says.
“Past entrants will tell you that as well as the opportunity to benchmark your best work against that of your peers, it’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase the achievements of your team and show them that you recognise and appreciate their efforts.
“It’s also a great platform to increase your profile with customers and the wider industry. From a business perspective, these things pay real dividends.”
