ASGA Bringing Make it Happen Bootcamp to Australia
The Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) has announced it has reached agreement with the Make it Happen Signage Consultancy to bring the world-renowned Make it Happen Signage Bootcamp to Australia for the first time in May this year.
Thousands of businesses across the UK and US have already benefited from these bootcamps, which promise to deliver new knowledge, practical learnings and plenty of fun to both new industry participants and seasoned professionals.
The full-day Signage Bootcamp will be held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, on Monday 19 May.
This is where the PacPrint 2025 and Visual Impact Sydney expos will run from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 May inclusive, giving Bootcamp participants a great opportunity to brush up on their learnings and then stay on to see the latest innovations for the industry at the four-day trade show.
The intensive bootcamp will be run by the dynamic Samantha Armstrong from Make it Happen Signage Consultancy, and will be held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

Mick Harrold, President of ASGA, says it’s the perfect opportunity for business owners, sales professionals, estimators, project managers, graphic designers, marketing and planning officers – and, in fact, anyone involved in signage – to build their knowledge and skills, enhance their business, empower their staff and improve relationships with their clients.
“The full-day Bootcamp will cover everything from products and materials, to the latest innovations to practical advice and strategies that will help you build your business success,” he explains.
“Featuring demonstrations, materials, hints, tips and great business advice, and delivered with Sam’s engaging personality and style, you can be assured they will not only be educational and inspiring, but fun!
“I’ve been in the industry for many years, but when I attended one of Sam’s Bootcamps in the US a couple of years ago, I came away with a huge amount of new knowledge and ideas, so it’s a really valuable investment for those who are new to the industry…or old hands like me,” he adds.
The full-day Signage Bootcamp will from 9:00AM – 4:00PM on Monday 19 May, and Mick says ASGA has also floated adding extra Bootcamps, or more focused half-day sessions, subject to interest, with dates and details currently under discussion.
Registrations for the Signage Bootcamp are now open and, with interest expected to be high, and special early bird prices available, anyone interested is encouraged to book early.
“This is a great opportunity to be among the first in Australia to benefit from this globally recognised Bootcamp, and we are really looking forward to bringing Sam and this fantastic program to Sydney,” Mick says.
