ASGA has this week announced a wide range of new and updated WH&S documents to its online suite of business resources, giving ASGA Members access to an important range of resources to assist with compliance and ensure better business practices.

In all, more than 410 documents have been added to Member resources, including policies, procedures, checklists and forms covering a wide variety of topics and situations, from SWMS, JSA, emergency planning and provisions, to meeting agendas, health and safety compliance checklists and motor vehicle logs.

There are also more than 270 procedures for a comprehensive range of equipment and tools, and also covering topics from welding and cutting, to working at heights, and using safety harnesses.

Damian Nielsen, Member & Events Manager for ASGA, says the expanded resources are made possible by ASGA’s new partnership with Advanced Safety Systems Australia (ASSA), with the assurance that ASSA will not only ensure that the entire suite of documents is not only kept up to date, but expanded over time.

“Through this partnership, ASSA has provided the most current and comprehensive range of WH&S resources that have ever been provided for ASGA members, all supplied and validated by ASSA to current standards,” Damian says.

Those documents are provided by Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors (ABLA) and include a comprehensive employment guide, contractor and employee agreements, and much more.

They are supported by the ASGA Workplace Advice Line, which provides you with access to ABLA’s workplace relations and employment law specialists, who can answer your questions and provide general advice on how to minimise legal risks and manage your legal obligations.
